Tell Me Your Loss, Your Story.

I’m starting something new on my blog! I get to share Ty and my experiences with grief and healing often. It’s therapeutic and I’m touched that people take time to read my words. I also hope it helps someone else who can relate.

memory laneBut now it’s your turn! I want to share your stories. If you’ve lost a child, whether through miscarriage, still birth, as an infant or older child, I would be honored to put together a blog post where you can share pictures and a little bit about your son or daughter. I hope this is an opportunity for you to remember your little one and to share their memory with others–a chance to recognize your loss, your journey.

I understand this wouldn’t be something everyone would like to participate in, but if it appeals to you, please contact me. I would love to talk about your angel.

  2. August 14th, 2015 I had the best little boy in the world he weighed 7.89 lbs 21 1/2inches at 10:39am we stayed in the hospital two full days went home at 12pm had put first stressful night and he woke up s happy as could be. I gave him his first sponge bath at home, starting clipping his finger nails and toe nails to make a habit of doing so. After I got done with his fingers he started fussing like he has to burn. I picked him up he burped (no spit up or anything) then laid him back down to finish his toes. I was looking at his feet and all of a suddenly then turned purple. I woke my husband up, called 911 and started doing chest compressions. We then proceeded to the ER and they are trying to get his heart to start beating on its own. The nurse explained everything they were doing to my sweet baby. This all started at 10:05am and they called his death at 12:01pm August 17th,2017. They tried the hardest they could. There was nothing they could do. There was nothing in his air way, the biopsy came back and it said he died from natural causes. I don’t get it but I trust in god! I trust he is taking great care of my little boy and I wish he was here so bad but I have to focus on the future.

    • This breaks my heart in two! I’m so sorry for your loss. We lost our little girl at 3 months old from “natural causes.” So hard to understand, but we also know God is taking good care of her. Thank you for sharing!
